Jason is currently Vice President of Design & Product Development at Greensource, based in Seattle, Washington. With more than 14 years of experience spanning fashion, consumer products and private label development, he leads Design, Technical Design and Product Development across a portfolio representing approximately half of the company's overall business.
While Jason's career began in apparel design, his role has expanded to include creative direction, product strategy, branding, packaging, trend forecasting and development process leadership. Today, he oversees the development of apparel, accessories, headwear, licensed products, private label programs, performance and recreational goods, home products and novelty consumer goods. Working directly with executive leadership and retail partners, he helps shape product strategy from early concept and trend direction through commercialization and retail execution.
Prior to joining Greensource, Jason served as Vice President of Creative Source Designs, where he led the company's creative and product development teams before guiding the successful integration of Creative Source Designs into Greensource. His responsibilities expanded to include organizational development, team integration, creative leadership and client strategy while relocating to Seattle to lead the combined Design and Product Development organization.
Before transitioning into executive leadership, Jason spent several years in New York as Senior Designer at G-III Apparel Group, designing for DKNY, DKNY Jeans, Tommy Hilfiger White Label and Tommy Jeans. During his time with DKNY Outerwear, he managed the seasonal development of more than 1,000 SKUs while overseeing fabric and trim development, international factory collaboration, brand systems and high-volume product development. He worked extensively with overseas partners throughout China, South Korea and other manufacturing regions, building a strong foundation in global product development.
Earlier in his career, Jason designed for BCBGeneration and Manoukian under the BCBGMAXAZRIA Group, where he helped launch the BCBGeneration Suiting initiative while designing across sportswear collections, jackets, jumpsuits and bottoms. His experience ranged from trend research and fabric development to international factory travel, collection presentations and styling, providing a comprehensive understanding of the product development process from concept through production.
As a creative leader, Jason believes the strongest products are built where creative vision and commercial strategy intersect. His background combines design, branding, trend forecasting, merchandising and product development, allowing him to translate ideas into products that resonate with consumers while meeting business objectives. Today, he is particularly passionate about building creative teams, mentoring emerging talent, identifying whitespace opportunities, strengthening brand identity and developing product strategies that connect creativity with meaningful business growth.
Jason earned his Associate of Arts degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles after being recruited by the BCBGMAXAZRIA Group before graduation. Prior to FIDM, he received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, San Diego, majoring in Political Science (Pre-Law) with minors in Visual Arts and Urban Design.
Outside of work, Jason lives in Seattle with his Shiba Inu, Artemis.
